[AccessD] Field not saving to table

I have a data entry form with three fields; record date, well number and
volume. The record date field is automatically filled from a date on
another form. Values in the other two fields are entered by the user.
The form has a data source of a table. The well number and volume fields
save fine to the table. The record date field does not save to the
table. What am I doing wrong or need to do to get the record date to
save to the table? Thanks.
