[AccessD] add a number in between

Hello groep,

i have a field that containes codes like:

6.10.3.3 0
5.04.2.4 #0
6.12.3.3 #1
4.07.1.1 1

i need to add a value (.x, after the last number, before the space.

an example:

fieldA                     fieldB
6.10.3.3 0             16
5.04.2.4 #0           8


as result i would like:

fieldC
6.10.3.3.16 0
5.04.2.4.8 #0

Can this been done?
