OTOH, how much would it cost to buy 10 licenses to Windows XP Pro, OfficeXP
Pro, and SQL Server with 10 CALs?  I think that paying 300 / year is
waaaaaaay cheaper than paying all of those licenses, even if you have to
subscribe for many years.  If you use any of the other programs in the
Action pack, the balance tips even further towards the Action Pack side.

I have 6 machines in my Home Office, all of which have Windows XP Pro.  All
have OfficeXP Pro installed, although only 3 really need it.  Three have SQL
Server installed although only one really needs it.  My dev work could use
the free version.  

Anyway, it made sense for me.

Read the EULA, Rocky.  If you DON'T subscribe, then you agree to remove all
the software from your machine.  That's the reason I don't use the action
pack.

I subscribed to the Action Pack as well this year.  Is there any advantage
