[AccessD] Cannot Compact and Repaid (Access 2003)

Truly weird. I pulled all the objects into a new MDB, 10 at a time,
compacting after each pull. Everything came in and everything compiled, and
the file size went from 31 MB to 5 MB. All is bliss, all is bliss.

All the tables are linked, not resident in the FE itself. But I guess that
you are correct, I should import group by group and compact after each.
