In general the way I do this is to have a hidden "flat file" sheet in Excel that links to the data to be imported on the other sheets. Then you can link to the sheet and create a query to import the data or write code to read the flat file "records". If the process involves more than one file I save them all to a folder and have my code open and read each of the files. If you want to describe the format your client's data is in (ie in "records" on a sheet, spread randomly on various sheets, etc) I can help you figure out the most appropriate way to load it into Access.
