Charlotte,
Glad you keep checking that thing.  My dad's pacemaker got checked last 
week.  His is a Guidant - you know the brand they've been talking about 
with all the recalls - so I was glad they confirmed his in not one of 
the ones recalled, and he still has a couple of good battery years left. 
 You'll soon be all crancked up (or charged up, I guess).  Best wishes
