We're using DataDynamics ActiveReports and like them very much. They're quite similar to the Access reports and include a wizard that helps convert the Access reports. At least it preserves the layout and converts the controls to ActiveReports controls, but it isn't perfect. We are using Janus for our datagrid needs. We chose them because their UI control suite included some really nice scheduling controls. For reports, we have been using Crystal 10 but are looking into switching over to SQL Reporting Services. The runtime package for an Access 2003 app is HUGE. We're switching to VB.Net for future versions. ---------------- I would be interested to know the various 3rd party components you will be using to replace the functionality of Access (printing reports, data grids, etc.). So much of what we take for granted in Access just isn't built in to vb.net. Or are you planning on doing it from scratch?
