Hello All, I have taken a contract with a client that are using Access 97 and Oracle for an enormous system. There are hundreds of tables, queries, pass through queries, linked tables and all sorts of other stuff also in it. There is no documentation at all, no inline comments at all anywhere! No framework of any sort and each form is created as a new form with only small similarities to the existing ones! Error handling amounts to on error resume next ! I am seeking your suggestions as to how to continue to develop this system with the future in mind. I am considering some way of using the existing MDB to call new MDB's. These new MDB's will be created and developed in a more sytematic way. Any comments you have on this would be welcome. The current archecture is Oracle BE, with Access FE, but with lots of local data in the FE also. At some stage in the future 12-18-24 months, they may overhaul the entire system, but in the meantime, we have to continue working with what we have. Thanks for your input. Mark
