[AccessD] Micrometer or Caliper Data Direct to Access

Hello all!

 

Many hand measuring instruments have an electronic component that is used to
send measurement data to a PC, given the right software.  The way this works
is to measure an item, then push a button on the instrument to send the
measurement info to a PC.  

 

I'd like to find out if anyone has experience working with these instruments
and collecting the data in an Access database, and could steer in good
directions and away from poor ones!
