If you get a compile error, it shouldn't work. ^ Yes I agree Have you tried decompile and recompile? ^ I have read posts here but maybe I am thick.(Well I am heavy : )) I do not understand how to decompile and recompile I have to say that in later versions of Access, I've had better luck using the afterupdate of a combo to put a non-value column value into another control. Have you tried that? ^That is where the code is.
