If she's using a later version with the Printer object and Printer collections, it's much easier. I missed the beginning of the thread, so I apologize if this is irrelevant. Susan H. Have just found it: PrtDevMode property allows you to set among others Orientation, however in order to write to it you must go to designview. if you can do that, search help for it. you may also want to look up PrtMip and PrtDevNames In Help they recommend to look these up in Win32 SDK help.
