I use Google Desktop, maybe someone will write a plugin to search mdb's Maybe there is something similar for below method in MSN I am not using latest version of GDSE. but in the search bar type in filetype:mdb which will give me a couple of thousand mdb's in under 5 seconds or say for string in file name hyperlink filetype:mdb It will search inside all your text files with something like hyperlink filetype:txt Just your web links hyperlink filetype:url By the way using the GSDE you can call with API's from Access to get results returned in xml still a few bugs tho, especially with international (non latin) encoding of xml.
