That's very common world wide, because Monday tends to be the quietest day 
of the week for people to "eat out", Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are 
often the busiest of the week in the restaurant trade.

Also, in many muslim countries Friday is the main religious day of 
rest/worship and the working week is Sunday to Thursday.
