[AccessD] No display adapter

What happens if you right click on the desktop -  select properties -
select the settings tab - go to advanced - select driver .....?

In fact I stumbled on this and no, it isn't there either.  Ordinarily
there will be a "Display adapter" tree, under which will be SOMETHING,
even if it is disabled due to conflicts.  That entire tree is missing.

In Hardware Manager try this: View | Show Hidden Devices.

This is where hardware items are listed that don't have plug and play
drivers. Is your video adapter listed there?

Nope.  I can't get at the display adapter, even in safe mode, because
there is no display adapter.
