It was the Hottest July on record here in Los Angeles.  Up in the San
Fernando Valley, we had 22 (or was it 25) days above 100 degrees F, peaking
at 117 :(

Susan was first and this choice is right except I did a minor mistake - the
figure is really 321.
It has been the hottest and most sunny July here ever since such recordings
were started a long time ago.
