If you can't make subform2 a Subform of subform1 then I would requery
subform2 in the Current event of Subform 1.  Either make the record source
of Subform 2 have a WHERE clause pointing to some value in Subform 1, or us
Me.Filter on subform2

i've got a form with 2 subforms eg:
Mainform = fParent
Subform1 = fsubParent_Child
Subform2 = fsubChild


Subform1 links to mainform.
Subform2 needs to link to subform1

Question:
how can i link subform2 to subform1??
