I have a legacy database Discipline.adp in Access XP connection to a SQL 2000 database. On one particular computer, the database will not connect. It gives me a runtime error 76 then tells me to go to File> Connect and change the connection parameters. If I try to open that, it just gives me the same error and message. I can make an ODBC connection to that same database on that machine. I also tried making a new .adp database and making the connection there. It immediately gives me the same error and message and no way to get to that menu. I have already un-installed and re-installed Access, and still get the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this? I am going for a re-image on Monday if nothing else works.
