Jim - this sounds interesting. So do you lose details when you replace the mdb? Or is there some replication? It makes the web folders appear in windows explorer so you can copy files, etc.. I think what it is actually doing is ftping a copy of the file (such as the mdb) to your computer and ftping it back once you close Access. This works fine for me since my site is not high traffic but is NOT the same as a true FE-BE setup.(I actually had my data, queries etc all in the web DB so I wasn't using a FE-BE setup. The problem this creates, of course, is you lose any changes to the web database (such as a new retail order!) when your copy of the mdb is copied back to the web and overwrites the "old" copy. Someone more technical might jump in here and give a clearer explanation of how webdrive works.
