Charlotte Foust -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Kaup, Chester Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 9:11 AM To: Access Developers discussion and problem solving Subject: [AccessD] Data from a SQL Server Table I am try to view the data from a SQL table that has one field that Access shows in design mode to be a memo field. Only part of the field displays. I tried exporting it to a text file and viewing it in Wordpad. I see more of the field but not all of it There is a distinct cutoff point (474 characters total on one line). Any suggestions on how to see all the contents of the field. I tried the LEN function on the field for one long record and got a count of 240. I know there are more characters than that. Does LEN not work on memo fields?
