[AccessD] Interesting behavior with Val()

Bobby, I realized that as soon as I sent the question -- sorry. But thank
you for responding! ;) I had 0 stuck in the brain, without following the
process all the way through. Some days are harder than  others.

Because Val returns 0 and the length of "0" is 1.
