[AccessD] Reader problem: memo field complains when entering Word text

A reader is trying to cut and paste text from a Word document into an Access
memo field. When the text is over 255 characters, the Memo field rejects the
entry. I ran a quick test for myself and did _not_ run into this problem.
I've checked microsoft's support sites and not found anything. 

Any help? The best I can come up with is a corrupted table.
