Depends on the speed of their WAN. 50 mbps is a typical wireless speed, so it's not bad at all... However, go down to a T1, which is great for the net, but an Access .mdb will take a bit just to open. Complex queries will take a while. I would recommend a web based front end. Would work fine even over dialup.
