[AccessD] Fields with Null

I get -1

Mmm, doesn't do that for me. Are you sure the Comments field is null?
Could
it have blank spaces in it somehow? Add this to your query:
 
TestNull: IsNull([Comments])
 
Do the "empty" Comments records return -1 (ie True)?
