[AccessD] Syntax for loading a specific version of Access

Arthur,

As long as they installed the version of office in the same folder across
machines, or if you are putting the app on a single machine, adding the path
to the desired exe file will work just fine. If you need a bit more dynamic
approach FMS has a solution called Total Access Startup (www.fmsinc.com). I
know the FMS products can be pricey but they work and I'm sure there are
other programs out there that do the same thing.

HTH,

Rusty

Arthur,

You need to know where Access 2K is located on the PC and put it in the
path, like this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office XP\Office10\MSACCESS.EXE"
"c:\program files\Mysoftware\mysoftware.MDB"

If there are any spaces each must be in quotations marks.

I scouted the archives but didn't locate what I want, which is to create a
shortcut that knows that I want to load this particular MDB | ADP using
Access 2000, not Access 2003 or Access 2007.

TIA,
Arthur
