Hi Gustav: A late response but things have been too busy here for checking the list. The client did some patching as was suggested and the app started working correctly. It is funny coincidence that when code increases in complexity the possibility of the program not working when moved to a client's site seems to go up exponentially as well. The dummer the more stable? Broken References in Runtime AXP and A97: http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/htdig/accessd/2003-July/011034.html The issue is caused by the two installations being not fully identical even though it may appear so. /gustav >>> accessd at shaw.ca 10-07-2007 17:40 >>> Hi All: Has anyone had a similar error: "compile error: User defined type not defined" I can not duplicate the error on my system and the client can not resolve the error on their system. They have the complete application, to the letter, running on their site. What could be causing this error as it appears they have virtually the same MS Access version that I do?
