Thank you Charlotte! - I'd avoid having MS Access 2003 and 2007 on the same
PC....

Shamil,

The other versions work all right, but the big pain is the installer
running when you switch back to 2003 or 2007. The 2003 installer
doesn't take overly long, but the 2007 installer takes a YEAR!! I've
had some problems with some of my earlier dbs in 2007, depending on how
creative I had been when I built them. Since I spend so little time in
Access, now, I haven't really exercised it.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for your answer! Besides this issue of switching between
running
(?) instances of different MS Access versions are there any problems
with previous version of MS Access or MS Access 2007 getting somehow
stuck when working together on the same system?

BTW, can one run MS Access 97 program databases on MS Access 2007?
(Sorry no time to test here currently and I do not have MS Access 97
installed to make a good test database to run it on MS Access 2007)...

Thank you.

Shamil,

More of an annoyance, rather than a serious misbehaviour, but there is a
problem with an extremely long delay in the process when you switch
between using Access 2007 and other versions.

Regards
Steve
