[AccessD] Before_Update problem

Hello listers

I'm having a devil of a time. I want to update a Date/Time field when/if the
data has been changed on a form. The form is bound to a table and all fields
on said form are to fields in the table.

Access 2007
Windows XP sp2

Here's what I've tried so far:

This didn't work
Private Sub Form_BeforeUpdate(Cancel As Integer)
    Me.QUOTEDATE = Now()
End Sub

Any help would be grateful
