  Yes that is an option, but if you are using ADO, then anything that's not
prefixed with ADO has a chance of breaking.

  For myself, if I have both checked I always declare everything explicitly.

I think you can actually leave ADO checked, but to do so you must have the
DAO reference listed ahead of the ADO reference.
