The first shoe has dropped: Microsoft has abandoned VBA in its latest Office suite for the Macintosh: Mac Users Face Hurdles with New Office Versions http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,2138349,00.asp?kc=EWKNLINF053007STR4 Although there is a converter tool for older Office documents, with promises for VBA support in the future, Mac developers are encouraged to use Applescript instead. Access developers have to at least consider the possibility that Office 2007 will be the last version of Office that will natively run VBA. -Ken
