That's odd. My experiences have always had the message box show up on top of everything. You are using messagebox.show, right? I added a messagebox.show to inform me when each file finishes (I was timing with a stopwatch) but that message box does not pop up over the top of everything else. The program has stopped and the message is up, but behind everything else and I do not see it unless I click the form icon in the tool bar.
