Well 12/31/2006 *is* day 1 of the 53rd week of the year. It's just that there are no more days for that week: 7 * 52 = 364. datepart("WW",#1/1/2007#) gives 1 for me and datepart("d",#1/1/2007#) also returns 1. What version of Access are you using? (Just curious).
