[AccessD] Cannot import from Excel

Can you reinstall 2000 to see if that really is the problem? 

After uninstalling SQL Server 2005, Outlook went nuts. :( I've repaired,
reinstalled  -- no idea why uninstalling SS would impact Outlook. :(
