Susan,

You give me more credit than I deserve.  I don't even work with DAO
recordsets any more, so my memory is failing.  I suspect a forward only
type will do this, but can't remember for sure.

Oh my... this is an old one Arthur -- so old, I can't even remember the
exact cure -- I think it has to do with the type of cursor. I wrote
about it years ago, I'll see if I can find the article. Charlotte will
know. Maybe she'll see this.
