Yuck, I haven't worked with the beast enough to know. Can you switch him over to VB.Net?? LOL I know there's some kind of draconian method to get the old pre-2007 look in Office, so that may apply to Access as well, but I haven't pursued it to find out. An if the user is running 2003 is suppose it would generate an error but I could precede the code to turn off the pane with On Error Resume Next?
