David - sorry for change in subject line. I deleted the prev email and forgot what your original subject was. Just a thought - if autocorrect IS causing the problem, and you don't want to turn off Autocorrect completely, then you could just disable it for that one control, eg. Me.CboName.AllowAutoCorrect = False You wouldn't really want Autocorrect in it anyway, would you? hth Kath Pelletti
