In my setup the two monitors function as one really wide on. So I just open both programs and drag one over to the other monitor. This also works great with Access. You can run your app on one while debugging it on the other. At work I have a pair of 22" monitors. I'm really spoiled now. Some notebooks require that you hit a key to make it happen. I forget offhand the particular keystroke, I think it's F6.
