[AccessD] VBA Unbound data entry / update form

John - take a look at KB281998.  

It's titled, "How to Bind Microsoft Access forms to ADO Recordsets."

Scroll down to the section titled, "Requirements for Microsoft Jet."

Perhaps an ADO connection instead of a DAO connection would solve the
problem.
