[AccessD] Record Locked

Charlotte,

Yes...it actually says "Locked"...something like "Could Not Update;Currently Locked"...and it is a relatively new occurance.

Under advanced I have Default record locking= no locks...and "open databases using record level locking" is checked.

Also, there are no memo fields...and I have reduced the number of fields that are indexed due to an article I read implying that regardless of what level you have locking set to...if you update an indexed field...it uses page locking?

Thanks,

Mark A. Matte

P.S...AccessD(databaseadvisors) is the only list/group I belong to...but I do search for answers elsewhere...today I found some lists that some of their 'frequent users' are just downright mean to the less advanced people asking questions.
