You know, that was my first thought, to. I tried it but it didn't work. Got some kind of error message. Just tried it again and...IT WORKS!!! Go figure... Select them all, then on the toolbar under Format, select Conditional Formatting. When you set this, all the controls' conditional formatting will be identical.
