Rocky Re blocking By default 2007 stops code executing open. Just below the ribbon look for an Enable button. If you create a new copy of Northwind 2007 and runit on your own machine you will see this effect. Re versions. I have never installed an old version last so don't know. I know it's not precisely your situation, Rocky, but I installed A97 after AXP and it's fine. Obviously you have to be careful to install to different folders but other than that there's just the irritation of getting the "installing" message if you switch back and forth. As long as he only used one version, he will probably see that message the first time, then never again. OTOH, if he switches back and forth, then it will quickly become an irritation. John W.
