Just what I was thinking but wanted an expert opinion. Tables can't automatically populate a field based on another field in the same record. The third field is named PID. I would like the field PID to be automatically populated with the PID that corresponds with the PIDName entered by the user. The PID is stored in a different table (CompletionMaster). I have tried a lookup field but it returns all values in the CompletionMaster table. Is this possible?
