You could create two Styles. One for Code and another "normal" text of your documents. Each style can include the font, font size, color of the font, paragraph spacing, etc. After you paste the code into the document, highlight the text, choose the style you need and whatever is highlighted will change. You can actually create short cut keys for each style - for example Alt+C for Code.
