What is your BE are you using? How are you connecting to it? In ODBC the username and password can be either be built in or it will make a login request with each new connection. ADO-OLE once connected, stays connected until you exit the application. When using ODBC, I just save the username and password in variables and apply them as parameters with each request to the BE. This is off the top... so sorry about the lack of specifics. But the form is bound to tables linked to the back end. Does the OpenForm need a password parameter? Or what am I missing here?
