Hi Rocky -- FYI: I didn't find my Office 2007 key in System Registry. --Shamil -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Rocky Smolin Sent: Sunday, October 25, 2009 6:53 PM To: 'Access Developers discussion and problem solving'; List Subject: [AccessD] Office Key Dear List(s): My son Max's HD in his Dell LT crapped out about a month ago. Dell replaced the drive. Of course, he had no backups. I told him to send the drive to me to see if I could recover some of the irreplaceable files. Which I was able to do. When I bought him this system I also got him Office 2007. OF course, he can't find the original install disk, but he got a copy from someone which is working but in a few days it's going to stop working because it's not registered. So my question is - is the key stored in the registry somewhere? If so, and I could find it on the old HD, I could email it to him, he could register the copy he's using.
