[AccessD] Access 2007 question

Folks,

This is probably a dumb question but it is bugging me. When working in Acess
2007 I see the word "Ready" at the left end of the status bar. At some
interval of around 10 - 15 seconds something runs and changes the word to
the running process but it is too fast to read what it is. I thought this
was unique to my installation which runs on a virtual machine, but I saw the
same thing happening on another users computer which was not a virtual
machine. He had his own database open so it isn't something I did. This is
what I would expect to see if I had a timer running on a form, but no
objects are open. Any idea what this is?
