That means it isn't the answer to Error 2285.

I also did a hash CRC check to see if there was any binary difference -
nope!

So it must be something WITHIN Access itself.  But what?

As the SP8 package is dated Oct. 2003, I guess there is no such thing for
Win 7.

Hi Dan,

I cannot seem to find one for Win 7.  The download page gives XP, Server
2003, Win 95/98/NT, Win 2000, Millenium,    

Nothing for Win 7.  

Is there a way  I can look under the hood and see what I have?
