William -- I guess they made 64bit wrapper/shim DLLs around 32bit JET, I can be wrong... BTW, I have got already met with that issue - one of my customers did purchase 64bit PC, and they use .NET programs with MS Access backends - solution for .NET is to use CorFlags.exe from .NET/Windows SDK to set .NET app running in 32bit mode then it will use 32bit JET DLLs on 64bit system... -- Shamil -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of William Hindman Sent: Saturday, February 27, 2010 1:52 AM To: Access Developers discussion and problem solving Subject: [AccessD] 64 bit Jet? /was Using macros - good thing or bad? ...anyone with more info on this? ...how can they release a 64 bit Access 2010 w/o a corresponding 64 bit Jet engine? ...the ocx issues would be small potatoes compared to this.
