Folks, I have a weird one, seems like all I get. We developed a database app for a client in Access 2007. The file is in the accdb format. All was well and we were doing upgrades as the client needs them. Today I got the front end file back from them and it would not open on my computer. There is no error message, Access just opens as it would if you opened it from the program menu. I checked to make sure the database window, or what ever you call it in A2007, wasn't hidden and I got a message that there was no file opened, which is what it looks like. Did all the normal stuff, like get another copy of the file, compact repair, decompile, with no results. The file did compact as it got smaller and it looks like it decompiled but after the action I got the Access program window, i.e. no open database. I had the client compact the file on their computer and resend. Still the same non-result. Then I created a blank DB and imported all objects from the file that won't open into it. That worked. I tried this file on two of our computers with 2007 and got the same behavior. Has anyone seen this before? Could it be a service pack thing? I looked on Google and couldn't find any posts about this. I need to figure out what is going on as I don't want to have to do this every time we move files around with this client and I have spent a couple of hours messing with this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Doug
