Hi Tony:

You have to use a 'place holder' in the Record Source property to initiate
the report. That can just be an empty table or query that matches the field
layout. Then in the On Open Event set the new RowSource.

Hey All
For the life of me I cannot figure out why you can change a rowsource 
for a chart(s) in a form but it just doesn't seem  want to work in a 
report.  Any suggestions????  And please don't tell not to put a chart 
in a report.
