So it does let you open the database itself, just not any objects? I would click HELP/ABOUT MICROSOFT ACCESS/SYSTEM INFO and see how much of that 4 GB is available for this access application. Then maybe a reboot and try it again and see if anything changed. Maybe you have a memory leak someplace?
